FREWER Mounted Foam

We use the very best quality Japanese Long Life foam on highly developed, well recognised rims. The "2" offset rims will widen the car by approx. 6mm. All tyres are black in colour and the colour coding eg "Red" is simply to prevent confusion, because the compounds used in our front tyres, are different than the rear tyres even though the hardness may be the same. Rear compounds in Gas racing are not reccommended to be used at the front of the car as they give more grip than a front compound, making the car unmanegable. However, in electric racing it is not uncommon for rear compounds to be used at the front. Even a soft 30 degree front will give much less grip than a 40 degree rear!

 

Note: 

The Yellow and Green compounds listed below are not Japanese long life rubber, and are considerably less expensive.
